Dr. Shirley McCray
Vice President
Dr. McCray has been a proud resident of Charlton Crossing for 17 years, bringing both professional expertise and a strong, hands-on commitment to enhancing the community. She holds a Doctorate in Administration & Supervision, along with advanced degrees in Educational Leadership, Reading, Early Childhood Education, and Curriculum & Instruction.
Over the course of her career, Dr. McCray has served in various educational roles, including teacher, principal, district-level administrator, ECE professional development specialist, and parenting education director.
From 2023 to 2025, Dr. McCray served as Secretary and Director of the CCHOA Board of Directors, and was recently appointed Vice-President. She has played a key role in leading projects that have enhanced the appearance and functionality of the neighborhood—such as upgrading subdivision amenities including the pool area, irrigation system, and sports facilities—as well as coordinating regular grounds maintenance and clean-up initiatives.
Dr. McCray remains committed to working collaboratively with fellow board members and residents to foster a well-maintained, thriving, and connected community.
